Product Description

The CAFS1000 series MEMS air flow sensor, also known as an air flow meter, is used in modern automotive electronic control fuel injection systems (EFI). Typically installed in the intake path between the air filter and the throttle body, it measures the amount of air entering the engine. The sensor's output signal is a key parameter in the vehicle's fuel injection system, determining fuel injection quantity and thus impacting engine performance, fuel economy, and emission standards.

For the electronic fuel injection engine to achieve optimal fuel-air mixture ratios under various operating conditions, it must accurately measure the air intake at each moment. This measurement serves as the primary basis for the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) to calculate and control fuel injection. Therefore, the air flow sensor plays a crucial role in saving energy and reducing emissions in modern vehicles.
